Your child will be bringing home their Social Studies Text Book periodically over the next month or two. Please read the pages indicated in your child's agenda and return the book to school the next day.
The Grade 2's will be working to answer the Big Question, How do physical features and climate affect how people live? In trying to answer this question they will be studying different communities around the world.
The Grade 3's will be working to answer the Big Question, How are the people and the land connected in Ontario? In trying to answer this question they will be studying the three different landform regions of Ontario (Hudson Bay Lowlands, Canadian Shield, and the Great Lakes - St. Lawrence Lowlands).
