After reading the story The Hickory Chair, the students had a great idea! They wanted to hide notes for each other just like the Grandmother hid notes in the story. So...we wrote friendly notes to our Grade 2/3 friends and hid them outside in the outdoor leaning space. Everyone had a chance to hide their note and find another note written especially for them. Great idea kids!!
