Fun Friday #1

Meet Bob, Noodles, Calvin, and Rachelle!

These robots are the newest members of our class.  

Today each student had an opportunity to operate a robot using an ipad.

There are all sorts of accessories that can be attached to the robots.

They are experimenting with the catapult

Check out the xylophone!

The bulldozer attachment is pushing a Fun Friday toy.

We will begin learning how to code the robots using the 

Wonder Workshop app called Blockly.

Fact Families

When you know one fact, you really know four!

As we begin our unit on number sense, we did a quick

review of fact family houses, to remind the students how numbers

 are related...

Kind Kids Club Mission

As members of the Kind Kids Club, the students received a mission in the 

mail.  The mission was to leave kind words in the playground.  They decided they

would invite friends to play, help friends solve problems, be polite, 

give compliments and finally leave chalked words for the weekend.
