As part of our Social Studies curriculum we are comparing our community to
communities around the world. We have discovered that there are many
similarities but many differences as well. One of the communities we
have been reading about is an Arctic community in Northern Canada.
The people in this community rely on Inukshuks as a means of communication.
After looking at photos of Inukshuks in Northern Canada, we decided to make
our own Inukshuks that communicated a message.
